Gaia Ajax Widgets

Gaia Ajax Widgets is a framework built on top of the native ASP.NET server controls which means it will interact fully with the page rendering cycle. This means that you can edit properties in any widget on your page from any event handler of any widget on that same page.

Gaia Ajax Dynamic Image

This is an example of an Ajax Dynamic Image. An Ajax Dynamic Image is an Image which instead of rendering the contents of a URL have an Event Handler in e.g. C# from which you can create a System.Drawing.Image within which will be rendered out back to the client. This is quite useful for rendering Images you have stored as BLOBs in Databases or for times when you need to dynamically render an Image instead of having some fixed URL pointing to a location on your disc. Very useful for creating CAPTCHA Control for instance.

Ajax TreeView

The image to the right is rendered on the fly as you click an item.

Gaia Ajax Chart

Use the mouse to resize elements. We used Gaia Panels to make a simple resizable chart. This is a live data control. After you resize a bar an Ajax CallBack takes place.

Gaia Ajax Effects with ScriptAculous

Try to drag panels around or click any of the buttons. Just some small ScriptAculous effects the Gaia way in addition to a couple of draggables and droppables

Gaia Ajax Shopping Cart

Here you can see an Ajax Shopping Cart Example. Try to drag the items from the right and drop them in the shopping cart to the left.

Ajax Live Scrolling

This is an example of Live Scrolling with Ajax. Live Scrolling means that when you scroll to the bottom of the container then new items are being appended to the container automatically. It is a very nice way of having a "DataGrid" run on into "infinity" or with very large sets of data. This way the user can get presented only the most relevant at the beginning and have the choice of drilling into the dataset to see the next chunk of data as long as he wish. It is a very nice way to create a pager for a "DataGrid" or a "GridView" too.

Ajax Window Triggerhappy

This is an example of how to go completely trigger-happy with Ajax Windows using Gaia Ajax Widgets. Try to drag and drop the Ajax Windows around on top of eachother and see them bounce around.
